Huffington Misrepresents Beck

Perhaps the arguments Beck presents on his show are too subtle for progressives like Ariana Huffington to understand or perhaps she understands all to clearly?  In any event Huffington’s attempt to claim on ABC that Beck believes our President has slaughtered or plans to slaughter Americans is laughably ignorant or willfully malicious.    Here’s Newsreal’s take:

HUFFINGTON: Well, Roger, it’s not a question of picking a fight. And aren’t you concerned about the language that Glenn Beck is using, which is, after all, inciting the American people? There is a lot of suffering out there, as you know, and when he talks about people being slaughtered, about who is going to be the next in the killing spree…

AILES: Well, he was talking about Hitler and Stalin slaughtering people. So I think he was probably accurate. Also, I’m a little….

HUFFINGTON: No, no, he was talking about this administration [Emphasis added].

AILES: I don’t — I think he speaks English. I don’t know, but I mean, I don’t misinterpret any of his words.

Glenn Beck aired a special on Friday, January 22 (I do believe the documentary was in English) showing some of the history of the atrocities committed by socialist and communist dictators throughout history, and how the Obama Administration employs people who actually hold evil despots like Mao Tse-tung in high regard. This is as close as I can come to figuring out what Huffington was talking about, and it isn’t very close.

The far Left seems wholly unable to comprehend their own abject lunacy as they misinterpret or mischaracterize Conservatives to paint them as insane. If the Left intends to keep the ear of the President, and more importantly the American people, I have some advice for them – maybe it’s time to ratchet back the crazy a little.
